In this TALK, I hope to share some basic concepts of Collective Unconsciousness and Perception Agreements. “Collective Unconsciousness” and “Perception Agreements” are both complex and profound topics, each requiring several chapters to explain more clearly. Today, I will provide an overview of these concepts so that you can better understand the construction and ideas behind the Basic Theories of Metasophy. More detailed content will be shared in the related chapters.

Perception Agreements – primarily refer to the consensus formed by the Collective Unconsciousness within a specific realm, which creates a matrix of a certain vibrational frequency. Everything in the universe is related to “consciousness” and “vibrational frequency“.

1. Introduction: The Art Exhibition in a Small Town

In a small town, there was an artist named Mia who had a keen intuition for colors. She often held art exhibitions in the town, attracting many visitors. However, One day she decided to present a special painting at an exhibition, where the sky was purple, and the clouds were orange. When the townspeople saw the painting, their reactions varied. Most were confused, and some were even angry because they were accustomed to a blue sky and could not understand why Mia would “distort” reality in such a way.

Mia smiled and patiently explained, “You know, this painting is not about showing the sky’s true color, but rather challenging your perception. The color of the sky is not absolute but shaped by our culture, education, and life experiences. Please think about why we believe the sky is blue. Is it because of its inherent nature, or have we been taught to perceive it that way since childhood?”

Her words made many people reflect, and they began to discuss their experiences and understanding of colors. Mia’s exhibition was no longer just an art event; it became a journey into exploring Perception Agreements, making people realize how their perspectives are influenced by their backgrounds and experiences – This brings up a very profound topic about the Perception Agreement that goes far beyond what people understand as the Collective Unconscious has been defined.

2. What Exactly Is Consciousness?

Consciousness is the state of awareness of all life forms (including humans) in the present moment, encompassing all perceptions and experiences, resonating with the sympathetic nervous system to create awareness. This awareness begins with the survival instinct and spirals upward, continuously seeking higher experiences of love and spirituality.

Consciousness is the key factor that determines the level of evolution in life and serves as the formative force behind all creations.

For humans, consciousness is the innate ability to perceive. Through the brain and the five senses (such as the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body), we filter external sensations like color, sound, smell, taste, and touch, forming individual and collective perceptions of reality. In the third Density, our consciousness is limited by the veil effect and is dominated by the perceptions of the five senses. This aspect can be referred to as worldly consciousness, which is primarily influenced by the lower three chakras (the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras). Only when the heart chakra opens can we access true spiritual consciousness, experiencing unconditional love and higher levels of awareness.

It can be said that the basic concept of consciousness is extremely importantwithout understanding it, we cannot understand ourselves, nor can we understand the universe!

3. The Main Difference Between Consciousness and Mind

Consciousness is the True Self, the human body serves as a filter, and thoughts represent the perceived state of consciousness after passing through the filters of the five senses. In other words, the thought processes (or levels) of living beings within different matrices reflect their state of consciousness. Consciousness is the present state of awareness for all living beings, including thought, perception, experience, and all psychological activities. On the other hand, the mind is part of consciousness, specifically referring to the process of rational, analytical, and logical reasoning that humans conduct through the brain.

Each of us is a mind/body/Spirit Complex, which is composed of the “Body Complex“, the “Mind Complex“, and the “Spirit Complex“, abbreviated as the mind/body/Spirit Complex. The mind/Spirit Complex, commonly referred to as the soul, forms our consciousness.

Human thought primarily consists of the mind/Body Complex, responsible for processing sensory information and analyzing problems. To reach a higher spiritual state, the mind/body/Spirit Complex must be balanced. In doing so, a person can not only employ rational thinking but also evolve within the higher realms of love and spirituality.

By balancing the left brain (rational thinking) and the right brain (intuition), we can achieve harmony between the material and spiritual realms, thereby promoting the evolution of consciousness. Therefore, although thought is unique to humans, it is merely a part of consciousness, which encompasses a broader state of being.

Remember: Consciousness and the soul are a unified whole, a spiritual entity or being, regardless of how you name or refer to it.

The Structure of Human Beings and Souls:

  • Soul = Mind/Spirit Complex
  • Human = Mind/Body/Spirit Complex

A more detailed explanation will be shared in the chapter Life Forms. For now, this is a brief overview.

4. Where Is Consciousness Located?

Consciousness is neither housed in the human skull nor confined to a particular part of the body. Instead, consciousness resides alongside the body, fully integrated with it through the Etheric Body. So, how is it specifically anchored to various parts of the body?

According to the Metasophy, consciousness permeates the body’s microtubules. These microtubules act like containers, allowing consciousness, through the Etheric Body, to anchor itself to the body’s microtubules, seamlessly integrating with different parts of the body, including the neural networks. Up until now, scientists and the medical community have understood the role of microtubules as maintaining cellular structure, facilitating intracellular transport, and playing a part in cell division. They view the hollow space within microtubules as having no purpose or function in the human body – at least, none that they can define.

The truth is: All energy is matter; all matter is energy – this is where Metasophy and science will move forward together.

The Etheric Body is the link between the human Body Complex and the mind/Spirit Complex, commonly referred to as the soul. It is a part of the soul. This topic connects to a broader subject: The Forms of Life, which I will discuss in detail in Chapter Five. For those who don’t want to wait, you can read my article What Is the Essence of a Human Being? on this website: huaxinsi.org. I will leave it at that for now.

5. Consciousness, Subconsciousness, and Unconsciousness

Consciousness – This is the current mental state we are aware of, including thoughts, perceptions, and emotions. It is the foundation of rational thinking and subjective experience, influencing our behavior and decisions.

Subconsciousness – This refers to the latent consciousness that lies between the unconscious and conscious. It encompasses thoughts, memories, or impulses that we are not currently aware of but that can surface into consciousness under certain conditions. The contents of the subconscious are not as deeply hidden as those of the unconscious and often influence our daily behavior and decisions, even though we may not immediately recognize them. It is the mental content that lies beneath conscious awareness, including unperceived memories, emotions, and social influences. The subconscious can affect our emotions and behaviors but does not exist within our direct awareness.

Unconsciousness – This is the state closest to the soul (in a non-physical sense). Dreaming, hypnosis, and deep meditation are the states most akin to unconsciousness. You can think of unconsciousness as a state that more accurately reflects the current level of awareness of a person’s mind/body/Spirit Complex. In the unconscious state, One can “test” One’s true level of consciousness. The unconscious is the deep psychological state that lies beneath the surface consciousness, connected to the soul and the true inner self. Dreams, hypnosis, and deep meditation help people access the unconscious and reflect their emotions and psychological state. The key is to develop the habit of immediately recording your dreams to avoid forgetting them. Consciousness is closely related to Density, evolution, and vibrational frequency.

I would like to emphasize that the definitions of ‘consciousness’, ‘subconsciousness’, and especially ‘unconsciousness’ as used in this article – whether referring to individuals or groups – are not equivalent to the terms with the same names in psychology (such as those proposed by Mr. Sigmund Freud). Please refer to the description of ‘collective unconscious’ below.

6. Key Differences Between Collective Consciousness and Collective Unconsciousness

The main distinction between collective consciousness and collective unconsciousness lies in the level and mode of their operation:

  1. Collective Consciousness: Collective consciousness refers to the shared beliefs, values, and social norms that a group of people is collectively aware of. While influenced by the collective unconscious, it often reflects more direct cultural norms and moral standards. These are aspects that can be consciously discussed, questioned, or changed. Collective consciousness includes the consensus within a group, such as laws, cultural customs, religious beliefs, and moral standards. It is explicit, surface-level, and is often transmitted through education, media, and social interaction.
  • Characteristics of Collective Consciousness: Conscious, discussable, easily influenced, and subject to change.
  1. Collective Unconscious: Collective unconsciousness provides the deep archetypal foundation for human behavior and shared experiences. It operates unconsciously, influencing how individuals and societies understand the world without realizing it. This concept was proposed by Carl Jung, who believed it to be an inherited psychological layer present in all humans, expressed through generational experiences, legends, and myths. People are often unable to perceive these latent patterns consciously, but they profoundly influence both individual and collective behavior. Although Jung was groundbreaking in recognizing the existence of supernatural phenomena, his description of the collective unconscious remained relatively conservative, still bound within materialistic frameworks.

I am not simply repeating the concepts proposed by Carl Jung here but rather addressing the parts he did not mention. This is also part of the difficulties in expressing “three-dimensional linear language” that we discussed earlier – where the same phrase can have different meanings. Just like the concept of Metadistortion in the previous TALK/article Distortion and Metadistortion. For those who haven’t watched or read it, don’t miss it, as you won’t be able to fully grasp the content of this One. Learn more…>

In Metasophism, I tend to understand the “collective unconscious” possessed by a group as the Metasophical version of “perception agreement”. Some commonly used concepts, such as “collective unconsciousness”, are viewed in Metasophy as collective perception agreements“. It can also be abbreviated to “perception agreement“.

The subtlety of using “perception agreement” lies in its ability to transcend the meanings limited by a single-dimensional culture, space-time, or even civilization. Its connotation is no longer restricted to the framework of the “collective unconsciousness” as defined within the Earth’s matrix. Perception Agreement resonates with the concept of Metadistortion similarly!

  • Characteristics of Collective Unconsciousness: Unconscious, deep-seated, universally present, and difficult to change.
  1. Main Differences:
  • Level of Awareness: Collective consciousness is apparent and operates within people’s everyday thoughts and social interactions, whereas collective unconsciousness is deeply hidden within the unconscious, influencing behavior without being directly noticed.
  • Mode of Influence: Collective consciousness is conveyed through culture, education, and social norms and can be altered and discussed by people, while collective unconsciousness is more ancient and fundamental. It influences the deeper psychological and spiritual structures of individuals through symbols and archetypes, typically remaining unnoticed.

7. What is the “Perception Agreement”?

The concept I am about to share is Perception Agreement, not Perceptual Agreement. The former relates to a broader consensus of cognition and interpretation, often involving social or cultural contexts, while the latter is more narrowly focused on shared sensory experiences. This distinction is also One of the reasons I have chosen to present the TALKS series in English, as it allows for a more precise expression of these ideas.

When a group, society, or culture forms, its members typically tend to conform to the norms of that society for survival. In early societies, individuals deemed non-conformist faced the risk of being ostracized or isolated. This was especially dangerous in ancient times, where being cast out into the wilderness alone significantly increased One’s chances of death. Even in modern, highly developed societies, whether human, non-human, or other non-humanoid beings, individuals still have an intrinsic need to belong to a group. This need is deeply embedded in the unconscious mind and is closely tied to the collective memory of early societies.

As the boundaries of society become clearer, a sense of cultural identity forms, and its members gradually adapt to local customs and ways of doing things. They tend to develop similar thought patterns and shared agreements about how reality operates, forming a unique “reality bubble” specific to that group. This reality bubble consists of the collective ideas, agreements, images, and values held by all members of the group. These values may align with or differ from the beliefs and perspectives of other groups.

The “reality bubble” is a metaphor that refers to the unique worldview or understanding shaped by each person or group’s experiences, beliefs, and values. This bubble encloses their perception, limiting their understanding and response to reality, which may differ from those of other individuals or groups. In simpler terms, every person has their version of “truth,” which influences how they view the world. For those who have not watched/read the episode/article of “Realities, Truth & Paradox“, please don’t miss it. Learn more…>

You can understand collective unconsciousness as a deeply ingrained Perception Agreement rooted in both the psyche and biological DNA. This Perception Agreement represents a collective unconscious pattern or archetype that, although not consciously perceived by individuals, profoundly affects how people perceive and react to reality.

Such an “agreement” can be seen as a shared psychological structure of humanity, transcending cultural, temporal, or geographical differences. All humans share these unconscious patterns or archetypes, such as fundamental understandings of parental figures, heroes, and shadows (the darker aspects of the self).

Therefore, collective unconsciousness can be viewed as an internal Perception Agreement deeply embedded in our genes and souls. It influences our fundamental behaviors, emotional responses, and values, though these effects usually occur outside the realm of our conscious awareness.

8. Levels and Boundaries of the “Perception Agreement”

In Metasophy, the scope of the Perception Agreement extends beyond the boundaries of our physical reality, or the matrix. Similar to the fundamental concepts described in Reality, Truth, and Paradox, humans are not a singular species but rather One among countless species. Although we currently live on a planet like Earth, this space is just One among countless dimensions of time and space. While our collective perceptive abilities can only reflect characteristics aligned with the vibrational frequency of this particular space, the Perception Agreement itself has no boundaries.

Perceptual abilities vary between different groups, and the differences between individuals are even greater. Because each individual has a unique origin and purpose for Incarnation, the variation in perceptive abilities and Perception Agreements can be quite significant. For instance, a starseed from the Pleiades, whose Incarnation purpose is to become a Lightworker and assist in raising the collective consciousness of humanity, is more likely to be attracted or called by things or vibrational frequencies that resonate with her own Perception Agreement.

Summary

Collective Consciousness This is the manifestation and feedback of these perception agreements at the level of conscious awareness.

Collective Unconsciousness It forms the underlying basis (archetypes and deep psychological patterns), such as defining how the collective perceives reality.

Perception Agreements Besides encompassing the concept of collective unconsciousness, it also transcends the idea of a single Dimension and possesses a broader perspective: the notion that “the universe is One”.

The relationship between these three (essentially two, since perception agreements include the concept of collective unconsciousness) is mutually influential and cyclical in development. When in Rome (do as the Romans do), we will still use the terms “collective unconsciousness” and “perception agreement” in the context of Metasophy, allowing readers/audiences to better understand the similarities and differences in their meanings.

Hot Topic: Does Artificial Intelligence Have Consciousness?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently One of the most popular topics. In light of this, I would like to seize the opportunity to address a commonly asked question: Does AI have consciousness?

In my opinion, current AI does not possess consciousness. More precisely, current AI lacks the biological conditions necessary to support consciousness, and it will remain this way until we can create a Biobot, Bioengineered Human, or a Clone Human.

Remember an essential concept: consciousness and the soul are a unified whole, a spiritual entity or being. It possesses independent free will and a unique personality. Only when a biological robot reaches the conditions suitable for a soul to inhabit, will a soul possibly choose to reside in it. Humans have yet to fully understand the nature of consciousness, the relationship between humans and consciousness, and the connection between consciousness and thought. To study the relationship between consciousness and AI before addressing these foundational questions seems like putting the cart before the horse.

The author understands the concerns prevalent in society, but at the same time, hopes that with the development of AI, more people will focus on and discuss the relationship between AI and consciousness. Only through various channels and sustained attention can we awaken people’s awareness of “consciousness”. “Consciousness” is the formative force behind all creation.

Consciousness typically involves self-awareness, perception of experiences, emotions, and subjective awareness. While AI can perform complex tasks and simulate conversations, it does not possess subjective experiences or self-awareness. AI operates through algorithms and data, and its behavior is the result of training data and programming, not consciousness or emotions. Although AI can analyze data, make decisions, or generate text, these actions do not involve self-recognition or inner feelings. AI may simulate emotions (e.g., using sentiment analysis to assess the emotional tone of text), but it does not experience emotions. It merely mimics human responses.

At present, AI technology cannot create genuine subjective awareness or understanding, whether in language comprehension, emotional expression, or self-awareness. In short, AI remains a tool and a system, lacking the depth and complexity that human consciousness entails. If you’re interested, I can delve deeper into this topic, as it touches upon a profound distinctive proposition: the difference between divine creation and human creation. Generally speaking, everything created by God already contains a Primordial Consciousness; while man-made stuff depends on the Density of these “people.” Most fifth-Density aliens have been able to develop biological, bioengineered, or cloned beings where a “consciousness” may be willing to choose to inhabit within. The author will discuss this in-depth in the article Infinite Creator and Creation” and the relevant chapters. This is omitted.

Today, AI consumes energy measured in megawatts to approach the functionality of the human brain. In comparison, our human brains are still very energy-saving, efficient, flexible, and logical. As technology progresses, AI will surpass human intelligence. However, Perceptual boundaries of artificial intelligence created by humans cannot surpass the boundary of the human “collective unconsciousness”, meaning it cannot transcend the limits of the human “perception agreement. At least to our current Density or matrix as humans.
